The course is located in a protected natural area, given the innumerable species of birds that live there. Parador Old is a good course to play for our clients that want a quick game same day of arrival or departure.

  • Torrequebrada

  • Torrequebrada Golf Course was opened in 1976 and was designed by Jose Pepe Gancedo one of Spain's most promising amateurs who has designed many courses in Spain. The course hosted the 53rd Spanish Open Championship in 1979 and is an undulating course with spectacular views along the coast.

This course is not the longest but still provides a tough test for all golf levels where tee shots are particularly important for scoring well.

  • El Chaparral

  • Since it reopened, El Chaparral Golf Club has become one of the most attractive golf clubs on the Costa del Sol, the result of the determination and efforts of Antonio Rubios family business to position El Chaparral Golf Club as one of the preferred golf courses on the Costa del Sol.

With an original design by Pepe Gancedo, this is the only golf course on the Costa del Sol with 6 par 3s, 6 par 4s and 6 par 5s. With a total length of 6000 metres, it offers a wide variety of holes and is quite a challenging course, requiring high levels of accuracy and skill.

  • La Cala Campo Asia

  • La Cala Resort boasts three 18-hole championship courses designed by the renowned Cabell Robinson, a star pupil of the legendary Robert Trent Jones. It also has a top quality six-hole par 3 layout that is attached to the only David Leadbetter Golf Academy in Spain.

Campo Asia, formerly the South Course, is pretty spectacular. With plenty of challenging holes along the way, you are guaranteed a testing round of golf. Water guards both greens at the 3rd and the 14th and in terms of a test of golf course strategy, the 18th couldn't be much better. Just remember not to over-club off the tee or this lengthy par 5 could well wreck your scorecard.

  • La Cala Europa

  • The Third Course - Campo Europa - was opened in March 2005. The fairways are generous from the tees and the greens are slightly larger than on the existing courses. They are not severely contoured but are well bunkered and will be easier for the average golfer. The par 71 course measures 6014 metres.

Course designer Cabell Robinson stresses the difference between the three courses: The three courses in La Cala Resort are all very different in character. The new course is the most different of the three because of the river Ojen, the others are in the hills. They are three good challenges and none is over long. Yet they are all very different in character. It gives a great option to golfers to have three 18-hole courses to choose from.

  • La Cala America

  • La Cala Golf Resort is the biggest golfing area in Spain and offers three completely different courses. The whole area offers some stunning views and unlikely some courses the area around has not been over built. Even the clubhouse and Resort Hotel look comfortable among the green fairways that stretch out in all directions through the valleys and across the mountains.

La Cala North is now called Campo America and the greens are elevated in the American style making accuracy important on the approach shot. The course is a long par 73 where the fairways are wide (even wider as many are joined) and well maintained.
